This means that mischievous little ones can’t climb all over them and potentially hurt themselves, and older folks can move about the space with considerably more freedom. Having the entire home on one level also makes cleaning a breeze. No more hauling a heavy vacuum up and down the stairs! And laundry is much easier without the stairs too!

Single-level homes can also be more energy efficient than their multi-level counterparts. Heat rises and cold air falls. This means that one level is almost always warmer than the other.
